General Information
LOcation Thunder on the Bend Motorcycle Rally will be held at Huxley Bay/Harvey's Landing on the banks of Toledo Bend Lake. This is the 6th year to hold this event at this location and is approximately 25 minutes from Center, Texas on Hwy 87 S. Facilities at the lake include the Huxley Bay Marina Restaurant, Motel, & RV Park, and Harvey's Landing provides camping and cabins. For more information click here http://www.huxleybay.net/index.html Fun Run Participants will ride through the backroads of Shelby County making a total of 5 stops. This ride will be approximately 70 miles. At each stop, riders will have an opportunity to purchase chances to win more tickets for the grand prize drawing of $1500 and a chance to win five $100 cash prizes. A total of $2000 in prize money will be given away during this event. Fun Run Registration will begin Friday, May 16, 2008 at Wal-Mart SuperCenter (HWY 96 in Center) from 12 noon to 5pm. Saturday, May 17, 2008 Registration will begin at Wal-Mart SuperCenter @ 8:30 am-11 am.
